Switch cabinet integration for Universal Robots
With the EPSON unit, robot control and programming is simple and intuitive, which makes it easy to get started with automation.
Direct switch cabinet integration allows for an easy and
ready-to-connect solution. As a result, the 7th axis can be moved within
a very short time. The solution is currently possible with the following Universal Robots kinematics: T3, T6, VT6. A master control system is not necessary.
You can also use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system - for example, with our igus® D1 dryve
motor control system. With this control architecture, you need a
motor control system and an additional master control system per
linear axis or motor that controls the coordination of the movement.The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered
from us as an option. igus currently does not offer a master control system.
